I just wanted to share with you how we’ve gone since attending your 3 day workshop in July. Something inside kept telling us that there were people making a living on eBay, so why not us? Brand New Seller, Sells Out Products Within 24 Hours! Hi Matt and Amanda, I had a great weekend at the Ebay Magic Workshop the other weekend and managed to take home some real gems. Having been in sales for many years now in other areas, I was familiar with what was to be done but still managed to learn more. I found the weekend very inspiring, not that I needed motivating but it was great to mingle with that wonderful group of people and share experiences and stories.Not to mention the positive energy you all put out on stage. Needless to say I was hanging out to get home and start putting things into practice. A great opportunity came along yesterday when one of my suppliers in my niche offered some run out stock at a great price! So I ordered some in and went to work on my ebay listing applying as much as I could that I took in on the weekend. I listed two of the products (same product in different colours), one yesterday morning and another last night. I listed the items as Auction or buy now. Well within an hour of listing I already had watchers (listed for 7 day duration). And low and behold both products were sold at full "Buy Now" price well before the 24 hours was up! We live on the Gold Coast in ‘beautiful one day, perfect the next’ Queensland. And every day, we live the eBay sellers’ dream, doing what we want, when we want to.

Most days, we surf and jog on the beach at around about the same time as many other Australians are stuck in traffic (or crammed onto public transport) on the way to another day with a cranky boss doing a job they hate.

We sleep in on the other days and take holidays several times every year.

When we want some "play money" for dinner out or to buy something nice, we just check our PayPal account to see how much we’ve earned (which usually happens during the night while we’re sleeping) and simply take it… a few hundred dollars, or thousands… whatever we need.

Again, our workplace is eBay. The world’s largest auction website. However don’t get me wrong, this was not an overnight get rich quick style of business. In fact, we worked our tails off for many years seeking the advice of mentors, attending endless seminars and workshops, investing tens of thousands of dollars and giving up precious time with our family before we finally worked it out.

Now we want to save you the heart ache of what we went through and maybe save you 3 to 5 years of stuffing around like we did. You know the saying…you can get more money but never more time.

I still have to pinch myself occasionally to believe it, but there’s no doubt Matt and I are living our dream (and in just a moment I’ll show you some screen shots from some of our eBay accounts to prove it).

But you know what I’m most proud of?

How fast it happened. Sure, the return we get on the few hours a day we put in is great, but it’s how quickly we did it and how fast it’s growing that gets me most excited.

Let me explain it to you personally… it’s a great story.

Making great profits each month is great, especially from a standing start, but within 6 months is fantastic, and here’s the exciting part for you…

We had to put in a huge amount of focused, gritted teeth determination, travel, study and hard work to get to where we are…. simply because no-one else had done it before. For months, we read every book on eBay we could find, attended every seminar run by every ‘guru’ who claimed to be able to build an eBay business (as it turned out, most actually hadn’t!) and traveled multiple times to the U.S. for intensive training and coaching. Not only did this cost us over $35,000 in tuition and travel expense, it took months and months to master our exact proven systems.

I mean, we really worked hard. In fact, our social life was non existent! Our families never saw us and started to wonder what we were up to. We were putting in 15 hr days, 7 days a week. But, boy, was it worth it because suddenly, two things happened….

Firstly, we started to understand and master the business like never before, and secondly, we combined everything we’d learnt into a blueprint of knowledge, techniques and strategies that launched our eBay business into the stratosphere!

And that’s what this letter is all about.

• We have one, part-time staff member who completely runs our eBay business
• We can’t wait to check our eBay business every morning to see how much we’ve made
• Our whole eBay business is run in less than 10 hours a week
• We make more money with less effort than all of our friends
• We can easily expand our business or just keep it at any level
• Our days are spent working together, without a boss
• We never feel stressed and tired or run down
• We have very minimal overheads
• We travel more, because the business doesn’t need us to be there day in, day out
• We get to spend time doing things that are more important to us than work
• We have never been happier, healthier and more excited
• And most important…we’re now both cash and time free

 

Life’s Cruising…..$9,300 Profit Per Month For Less Than 1 Hr a Day Work! Three weeks ago we decided at the last minute to go for a holiday in Thailand. It happened on a Thursday afternoon where we booked flights and accommodation to fly out on the Saturday. Less than two days to prepare. Knowing we have an automated eBay business that can operate in any country, with your laptop and internet access, we knew that we could do it. How many ‘jobs’ or businesses will allow you to do that? Not many. With all the training, expertise and support provided from Genta, the Bidding Buzz team and our mentors and JV partners, Matt and Amanda, anything is definitely possible. We managed to have all our orders fulfilled while we were away, thanks to the warehouse and fulfilment system we set up before going away. It just proves that you can travel overseas and still run your eBay business with less than 1 hour work per day. We are on target to do about $9,300 profit this month, or about $48,000 in gross sales. We might have to wait until June to break $50,000 sales and $10,000 profit. eBay Business Wins Over Family… Hi Amanda, I thought I would touch base so you know I am still here. Just trying to build my feedback, and seems to be taking for ever. I wanted to let you in on a few things that have been happening in our house with EBAY. I have 3 gorgeous boys, who are all obsessed about Ebay, my eldest son Sam who is 11 can’t wait to get out of bed every morning and when he get’s home from school to check if our items have had any more bids, he get’s so excited about the whole selling process. He even helps out and clicks on the "Item Posted" tabs for me, he could certainly run it for me If I ever need a hand. He has even been thinking how he can make money himself and is looking at purchasing some glow in the dark bracelets/necklaces etc to resell at our local show which is coming up soon. He has 2 money tins, the first tin is he has to put 10% of what he makes in the donation tin, so he can donate that money to a charity. The second tin is half of what is left has to be banked, and the other half goes in his wallet to spend. Layton who is 8 is coming up with the ideas of added bonuses! My youngest Son Mitchell who is 4, is also obsessed about Ebay, he is asking me all the time to go onto ebay and check out things he wants me to buy for him. The other night at tea at the local Hotel he yelled out "Mum how muchmoney did you make for me on ebay selling my old baby jeans". He tells everyone about it. Just the other day he went into his room and decided toclean out the clothes that didn’t fit him, I was horrified to see the whole cupboard on his bed. He even started taking photos. And on a brighter note, I have a pair of Jeans listed at the moment, I think they have 3 days to go, and the title has RRP$99.00 and they are already upto $102.50, the boys are just amazed, as well as myself. So ebay is pretty exciting in our house. I’m nearly ready to make an order shortly on a sample product to be sent over, and it’s getting very exciting. We have 7 parcels to take to the post office tomorrow, and Sam said Mum I bet all the ladies in the Post Office are wondering what you are upto! Talk Soon. But here’s a question you may be asking yourself…

Why would we want to teach other people how to have the same thing… why would we risk giving our valuable intellectual property (that we paid for in sweat, anguish and tens of thousands of dollars) to potential competitors?

Well, there are actually a couple of reasons.

Firstly, competition is actually very good for us. It keeps us at the cutting edge and the more people who hear about and make money with eBay, the bigger the marketplace becomes.

Which suits the very successful sellers, like us, very nicely!

But some competition is not so good… for example, we’re sick of small time pretenders who just sold their first $1,000 online, claiming to know how to make a fortune on eBay. It’s wrong, it exploits the hopes and dreams of vulnerable people and there should be some sort of proof required before these people are allowed to make their outrageous, exaggerated claims.

You see, like all ventures, there’s many, many "do’s" and "don’ts" with an eBay business and the road to success; if you were to tackle it alone (or with any of the overnight ‘gurus’) is a lo-o-o-o-ng and painful one, that’s statistically very likely to fail. You see education and the right mentor is the key to all success, so never choose to learn from someone who does not have the results you want. Because they are not qualified!

So we feel good about sharing our knowledge and experience, especially when it benefits other people so much. These days Matt and I have a much bigger vision than just creating a great business on eBay (be careful what you wish for by the way …our vision is to help as many every day people like you as possible, so that YOU get to create the lifestyle you deserve for you and your family.

This is what drives us every day to get up and keep going. We live and breath this and if you could see half the emails we get from customers who’s lives change beyond comprehension as a result…then you’d understand why we do this. Yes, yes…you might say we’re addicted to our cause.

We teach people like you wealth building strategies and we take this extremely seriously. (And by the way, we don’t sell our education programs on eBay…just everyday, physical products you can buy at the local shops in case you were wondering.)

But there’s an even bigger and more pressing reason, which is also a bit more complicated. Let me explain…

When it comes to beginning a new venture, we believe that totally immersing yourself in the topic and content is a must. Having a home study program is a great way to get started and to get the ball rolling, but if you want to fast track your success with eBay, and you want to get results sooner rather than later, then you really can’t go past a condensed learning format.

 

Brett set up a store on Ebay about three weeks ago and has already sold 27 items. Hi Matt and Amanda I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you both for such a fabulous weekend my husband Brett and I had over the three days. I cannot thank you enough for the opportunity you have given to us. I am certainly going to take all of that information and run with it. I am now going to truly grow as a person.
