New Changes Announced This Year Now Live on Ebay..

This week a few changes that were announced early in the year have now gone live on eBay Australia. Be sure to update your listing to reflect these changes or you could find your listings suspended until changed.

From 14th July, you will be required to offer at least one of the following three accepted safe payment options:

* PayPal
* Paymate
* Merchant credit card

Changes to accepted payments may take a few days to become visible in listings so don’t be worried if you can’t see them straight away.

The other change that will be mandatory by the end of July 2010 is Item Condition.

Sellers who create new listings post 27 July will be required to select an Item Condition for their listing.

Introduced in early May, the new values have now replaced the basic New and Used options and are intended to help sellers better manage buyers’ expectations and increase satisfaction with the transaction by clearly defining the condition of an item in a uniform way.

Sellers who have not updated their listings should do so by 27 July.

Any Good ‘Til Cancelled and Auto Re-List listings that are not updated with the new Item Condition values and are scheduled to re-list post 27 July, will be suspended until the Item Condition is updated.

So make sure by the end of next week all your listings are revised or ended to reflect all the new changes.
