How To Make More Money In The Christmas Period!
So the holiday season and of course the busiest season on eBay
has well and truly begun.
Whilst it is nearly Christmas we haven’t seen too many changes on eBay from
sellers that actually show the Christmas spirit.. .We love all the decorations
and lights when we go out shopping so why not add a bit of spirit to your
Store or listings??
So if you want potential customers to shop with you instead of your
competitors, then do something a bit different, add a few different
graphics to your store or to your listings to brighten them up for
Christmas. Add a few images of Santa or a sled with lots of presents
in your shipping, little things can make a big difference to your
bottom line!
Also make sure that you add little Christmas items to your Category,
for example if you are selling womens bracelets you may add some
Christmas trinkets to the listing for free or to add on. Or if you were
selling ice boxes, you might find some Santa shaped ice cube trays
that could go in as a bonus or as a another item that they might want
to add onto their purchase…this can be then used for the next
Christmas season.
Make sure that you also start collecting all your clients details that
buy over the Christmas period, these clients then can be sold to
again in the New Year with all your new items or packages of your
products. If you don’t collect all these details you could easily miss out
on thousands of dollars for the following years from these customers.
Lastly make sure that you are telling your customers about the
shipping of their orders if your courier or Post Office is shut on the
Xmas period so they arent expecting their gift as per usual. Let them
know by putting it into your listings at the top in bright red bold or
in the shipping section so they can’t miss it. This will avoid any
customers emailing you asking for the item if you are on holidays
or the courier isn’t shipping.
So til next time, start bringing the Christmas cheer into your
listings but of course don’t overdo it so it looks like one of those
houses that spent too much on decorations!
Have a great eBay week!
