Are You Up To Date With All Of EBay’s Coming Changes??
In the last few weeks we have updated you with some changes that are taking place in Australia and some that haven’t yet crossed the waters from the US eBay platform.
Now the eBay.com platform is about to launch into some more major changes in the next few months though dates have not been set yet for when the changes are to hit Australia shores, so by giving you all the information now you’ll be ready to hit the ground running once they are.
The use of the PowerSeller icons and mention of PowerSeller status or Top-rated seller status is about to be removed from the US platform. All the references must be removed from your listing descriptions, listing templates, About Me pages, and Store pages,
but you have until September 1st to accomplish that. So if you are selling into America and listing solely on the US platform this rule will definitely apply to you.
Reminder—New PowerSeller discounts and seller requirements coming in mid-April for US:
* New PowerSeller discount structure:
o With the new PowerSeller discount schedule (also announced in July 09), only eBay Top-rated
sellers will receive 20% fee discounts. All other PowerSellers will receive 5% discounts.
* New standards for all eBay sellers:
o All sellers will be required to meet the new Detailed Seller Rating (DSR) requirement for selling on eBay.
o The eBay Selling Practices policy will be enforced for all sellers.
So you can see eBay are having a major shake up and it seems if you are a small time seller it is going to be harder for you to make money and the serious sellers will now be rewarded for the more listings they sell. Click on the link below to use the Fee Illustrator to see what their different fee structure look like and may be like for you this year!

Til next time, have a great eBay week!
